Brian and Yvette wanted to extend their beautiful 3 storey period residence to make room for when family came to visit.

The homeowners had a distinct brief about the feel and look they wanted to achieve. They wanted a functional space to eat, relax and gather with friends and family.

The clever manipulation of natural light made for a seamless transition from traditional to contemporary, with pops of colour lifting the neutral kitchen.

The clients’ also had a lot of interesting pottery and other art pieces, giving the project a truly personal final touch.

We linked the kitchen to the outdoors through large full-length sliding glass doors, this feature allows fresh air to flow throughout the space, wonderful for warm sunny days and social gatherings.

“Wayne Moore and his team made what could have been a terrible six months a creative and enjoyable experience.  They were helpful, polite, courteous to neighbours and, crucially first rate craftsmen.  They communicated well asked us all the right questions – particularly when we did not know that there was a question to be asked.  The finish of the work is exceptional and they “went the extra mile” with small additions etc.  Highly recommend working with them and we would certainly work with them again.”
